| Mary Casanova is the author of Chrissa and Chrissa Stands Strong, two titles featuring American Girl’s newest Girl of the Year character. This continues her involvement with the series, as she also wrote Jess, our Girl of the Year from 2006. As part of our Girls of Many Lands series, she previously wrote Cecile: Gates of Gold. She is the award-winning author of novels for middle-grade and young adult readers‚ including When Eagles Fall, Wolf Shadows‚ Moose Tracks‚ Riot‚ Stealing Thunder‚ and Curse of a Winter Moon. She and her husband live in northern Minnesota, where they ride their horses, Midnight and JJ, and explore Rainy Lake and Voyageurs National Park with their two dogs. |
