| Apryl Lundsten is the author of several books for American Girl, including Dance!, which won the 2009 Children's Choice Award: Top 100 Books for 5-6 Graders. Apryl has been writing for tweens and teens for more than 10 years. Her how-to articles, features, fiction, and real-life stories have been published in Teen, All About You, Girls' Life, Twist, PBS Kids, and ElleGirl. In addition, Apryl has been a commentator and reporter for the National Public Radio shows "All Things Considered," "Marketplace," and "Marketplace Money," and has created podcasts for Travelocity, Bon Apetit online, and PBS Kids. She studied journalism, graphic design, and film and holds a BFA in screenwriting from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts. Apryl currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, dog, and two cats. |
